| Welcome to Keya's world. Centuries ago, on a small island off the coast of Maine, an ancient order of elven priests from a parallel world, forged a weapon of great power. In a ceremony held during the height of a lunar eclipse, they forged a sword using materials that had fallen from the heavens. He who possesses this sword is almost invincible in battle. The priests, realizing the full extent of the sword's power, hid it to protect their world and ours. Two decades ago, an elven warlord from the parallel world, found the sword, and waged a great war killing or enslaving everyone in his path. In a final battle held on the dawn of all hallows eve, in the kingdom of Shivenridge, a final battle raged. The last of the freedom fighters both elves and men, led by a young fairy queen, fought throughout the day. Legend foretold of a warrior, half man, half elf, that would rise to defeat the warlord and destroy the sword forever. Onward they fought throughout the day, their numbers dwindling under the vast opposing forces. In the eleventh hour, when all seemed lost, the warlord killed the fairy queen. In that moment, he let down his guard, a young warrior attacked the warlord, defeating him, gaining control of the sword. The battle had been won but the price was heavy. The warrior, left the world of elves crossing into our world, vowing to find a way to destroy the sword. He ordered the portal between the worlds sealed forever to protect both worlds. Twenty years later a new warlord has risen to power in the world of elves. He has learned of a young woman of elven descent that has a way to find the great warrior and the sword he possesses. He orders his armies to descend upon the kingdom of Shivenridge and find this girl. What he doesn't know is that she has been raised since birth to be a great warrior, to one day lead her people. Learning of the warlord's plan, the woman launches a plan of her own, to re-open the portal and seek out this warrior of legend and convince him to return and save her people. What she doesn't know is that destiny has a greater plan in store for her. All that she knows, and holds dear to be true, are but illusions. Three lost souls will be united and their worlds changed forever. These are the tales of her journeys, her quests.......... |
